Atlus has hinted that the hypothesis of Persona 3 Reload also on Nintendo Switch is not to be discarded, however to date there are no concrete plans to bring the Persona 3 remake to the hybrid console of Nintendo. According to a well-known leaker, however, the Japanese company's plans would be different.
Replying to some of his followers on Twitter/X the leaker Midorialso known as MbKKssTBh5 and always very active on everything related to Atlus, claims that Persona 3 Reload will see the light on Nintendo Switch 2 and not on the current Nintendo platform. And by the way, it wouldn't even be the only project signed by Atlus that would follow the same path.
The information on Persona 3 Reload in fact occurs in the context of a post by Midori relating to Metaphor ReFantaziothe long-awaited JRPG also signed by Atlus which, according to the leaker, could see the light of day PC, Xbox Series X/S and console PlayStation October 11, 2024: this would be in line with the launch window of Metaphor ReFantazio set for autumn 2024, but for the moment the developers have not communicated a more precise release date. Midori specifies, however, that Metaphor ReFantazio would also be expected in the future on Nintendo Switch 2, in turn skipping the debut on the current Switch.
For now we remain in the realm of unconfirmed hypotheses, but as soon as Nintendo has revealed the plans for its next hardware it cannot be ruled out that Atlus will provide clear and official details regarding the future of its games.
