Another Telegram update has been released, introducing nine new group chat features. They can now post stories to them and save those stories as posts on their profile pages. In groups, you can set unique wallpapers and statuses, as well as customize their appearance, down to the color and logo of the group profile and link styles.
All of these features can be unlocked by group members, including features only available to Telegram Premium subscribers, such as voice-to-text and personalized emoji. Groups can be assigned levels based on boosts and gifts from members. Group chat admins can now post stories – participants can leave replies to them and they will appear in group chats. Strengthened groups support appearance settings: cover color and logo, emoticon status, and wallpaper that appears when opening a group chat.
At high levels, groups have access to some Telegram Premium features. For example, you can add sets of emoticons created by Telegram designers, or your own sets unique to a given chat. At the sixth level, for example, a text transcript of voice messages sent to the group appears. A complete list of features corresponding to groups from the first to the tenth level is provided on the Telegram help page. Future updates will introduce new options to enhance group chats.
A Telegram Premium subscription gives the user four boosts that can be assigned to any group chat or channel; The user receives three more boosts every time he gives a Premium subscription. The messenger administration added that they planned to include five more functions in the February update, but they were delayed in the App Store – perhaps these innovations will appear in March.
