If you think that only the Deals of the Day section holds the best Amazon promotions, find out now that there are more ways to find great discounts. “Hidden” pages, coupons, Outlet sections and second-hand products are some of them.
1. Keep an eye out for Amazon Outlet, Amazon Second Hand and Amazon Renewed

Some overstock and clearance items are organized by Amazon at Amazon Outlet. Discounts can reach up to 80% and there are products from all categories.
On Amazon Second Hand, customers can find open box and refurbished products to be resold. In this area it is quite common to find technology items and different gadgets. The discounts are incredible on quality products that have been returned, used or whose box has already been opened.
Amazon Renewed is similar to Amazon Second Hand. While Amazon Second Hand checks the quality of products and ensures they are in good condition, Amazon Renewed resells products that have been renewed by experts and even have a one-year warranty.
2. Find discounts in Our Offers (but pay attention to all types)

In the Our Offers section, Amazon organizes the:
Offers of the Day: products that are discounted that day and maybe for a few more days
Flash Offers: products that have huge discounts counting down (usually just a few hours away)
Offers less than €20: products with discounts that left their prices below the €20 range
3. Coupons, coupons, coupons

Did you know that Amazon, even with so many promotions, still offers coupons? On Amazon Coupons, customers can find discounts of 50% or more, which can be applied to a product at the time of purchase, even if this product is already on offer.
4. Use the Subscribe & Save service

In this recurring purchase option, you select the day for delivery and everything will be processed automatically on the indicated card.
The service has no additional cost and also provides discounts on purchased products and free delivery.
5. Some browser extensions can help

Keep: also an extension that tracks Amazon prices, monitors prices daily and compares offers in different countries
Fakespot: this extension analyzes the reviews and ratings that products have received on Amazon to find out if they are real and gives them a grade (from A to F)

Since the purpose of this article is to give tips on how to take advantage of promotions and spend less, the suggestion about Amazon subscriptions may not seem to make sense. But the truth is that subscriptions to Amazon services tend to be good value for money, in addition to offering even more promotions to subscribers.
In Portugal, we can subscribe to Amazon Prime through Amazon Spain. For just €4.99 or €49.90 annually, subscribers are entitled to more offers, free delivery and access to the Prime Video streaming service and Prime Gaming.
Customers also have access to Amazon Photos, unlimited storage space, and the ability to try on clothes and accessories before purchasing. Another benefit is being able to participate in Prime Day, an annual two-day event of exclusive promotions for Amazon Prime subscribers.
