Next week, specifically on March 6th, Bethesda will release the next update for Starfield as a beta on Steam. The studio announced this via X/Twitter and provided a direct insight into the innovations. The focus is “on quality of life improvements and bug fixes,” the post says. Just a few days ago, update 1.9.67 was released, introducing support for FSR 3 with frame generation.

New features include facial expressions in photo mode for the player character and his companions, as well as some new poses for Vasco. The other improvements are primarily optimizations: When sprinting, the head no longer looks to the left; David Barron should now be found in the mission “Sabotage”; Players can now simultaneously scan the environment and collect resources or open doors; When a mission is selected in the menu, it is automatically considered “active”. The complete patch notes should be published in the coming days.
