On Steam last week, on average, more players played Gotham Knights than Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at the same time.
A week ago, Warner Bros. Discovery Chief Financial Officer Gunnar Wiedenfels had to admit that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in early February, failed to meet expectations. A fact that is also reflected in the Steam database SteamDB.
A month after the launch of the open-world superhero game, player numbers on Steam are looking pretty bleak. While 13,459 players were playing at the same time the day after the release, the number was consistently below 1,000 last week.
With an average of 754 active players at the same time, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is even behind Gotham Knights, which is now almost a year and a half old and has a weekly average of 881 simultaneous players.
