03/02/2024 at 9:30 a.m. – A mount and two cosmetic sets that players were able to unlock some time ago via the trading post in WoW are now available in the Blizzard real money shop. The fans' reactions are mostly balanced.
Blizzard is once again expanding the range of the World of Warcraft real money shop, with items that were previously available for free in the World of Warcraft Trading Post. You can now purchase the ground mount Ash'adar, Herald of Dawn and the two sets of Dreadlord Regalia for a limited time.
Dreadlord Regalia and Ash'adar available in the real money store
Ash'adar, Herald of the Dawn was the first mount you could get for trade currency at the Trading Post. If you missed the mount back then, you can still buy it for 25 euros in the Battle.net real money shop until March 31, 2024. In this context, Blizzard is also promoting the visually matching transmog set: Burden of Relentless Righteousness, which you can unlock via the trading post in March 2024.
In addition, the two sets of the Dread Lord's regalia are now available in both color variants for a price of 20 euros in the real money shop. Specifically, the sets consist of the following parts:
Dreadlord's Poisonbane Set Dreadlord's Poisonbane Helm Dreadlord's Poisonbane Shoulderpads Dreadlord's Poisonbane Tunic Dreadlord's Poisonbane Sash Dreadlord's Poisonbane Breeches Dreadlord's Poisonbane Wristbands Dreadlord's Poisonbane Handguards Dreadlord's Poisonbane Wings Dreadlord's Shadowbane Set Dreadlord's Shadowbane Helmet slordsDreadlord's Shadowbane ShoulderpadsDreadlord's Shadowbane TunicDreadlord's Shadowbane SashDreadlord's Shadowbane BreechesDreadlord's Shadowbane WristbandsDreadlord's Shadowbane HandguardsDreadlord's Shadowbane Wings
With these offers, you can only use both the mount and the transmog sets in retail WoW, but not in WoW (buy now) Classic. In the meantime, we would like to know from you what you think of these deals and whether the new old items are worth the money to you. In any case, the fans' reactions are quite moderate; many don't really mind the offer because the items were already available for free before.
