The Game Pass subscription will be replenished on April 9 with the game Botany Manor, which was developed by the Balloon Studios team. The project is released in the Game Pass subscription immediately after release, and the developers, in an interview with Trueachievements, commented on the release of their project in the subscription.
The Whitethorn Games team, which publishes Botany Manor, represented by CEO Matthew White, comments on the game's release on Game Pass as follows:
We've worked with Xbox on a number of games in the past, and our shared values with the Microsoft team of inclusivity, accessibility and making sure everyone can play resonate with our company's mission. In addition to other offerings on Game Pass, Botany Manor's beauty, affordability, and relaxed atmosphere are perfect for its growing catalogue.
Balloon Studios founder Laure De Mey believes the release of Botany Manor on Game Pass is “incredibly important” for the studio:
Having Botany Manor on Game Pass is incredibly exciting, and it's especially exciting for us to be alongside so many other great games. For me personally, the main benefit is the wider reach of more diverse audiences, as well as the opportunity for all subscribers to discover the game and hopefully enjoy it.
I like Game Pass for its ability to allow players to discover games they wouldn't otherwise pick up. This is a great way for small indie games to get their name out there!
Botany Manor is an adventure puzzle game. The game tells the story of Arabella Green, a retired botanist who has a collection of rare plants. Players will have to study the career of the main character on the territory of an ancient estate in the 19th century and immerse themselves in the problems of a female scientist of the 19th century.
