This week an update was released for the console version of Rust. The project received version 1.90, and the game along with it was filled with a considerable amount of new content – weapons, items, a monument, etc. At the same time, the Rust update to version 1.90 added to the game on Xbox Series X | S support for 120 FPS, or rather the ability to unlock the frame rate.
Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S can now be played at 120 FPS on supported screens. Below are the performance tests.
Xbox Series X. Players can choose either a locked or unlocked frame rate. With FPS unlocked, the frame rate can reach 120 per second. Depending on the selected overall quality, the indicators change, as can be seen in the video below.
Xbox Series S. On Xbox Series S consoles, Rust's 120 FPS performance appears to be more stable than on Xbox Series X. The lower-end console hits 120 frames per second more often, and frame rate drops appear less significant than on the Xbox Series X version.
