The Switch has had seven exciting years. After the terrible flop of the Wii U, the ingenious hybrid concept of the portable console catapulted the manufacturer Nintendo back into the video game Olympus. The Switch is now the third most successful console of all time behind the Playstation 2 and the Nintendo DS. There isn't much life left in the decrepit hardware, but Nintendo still has a few last arrows in its quiver.
Which games are still coming out for the Nintendo Switch?
In order to properly accompany the slow but unstoppable death of the Switch, Nintendo is relying entirely on the Mushroom Kingdom. As in the incredibly successful Super Mario Bros. film, Princess Peach makes a very special appearance here. On March 22, 2024, Princess Peach: Showtime will finally be released after a long time, a Nintendo game that invites you to go on a solo adventure with Mario's beloved. But that's not enough.
These Mario classics are coming to Nintendo Switch
Even the plumber himself is far from finished on the Switch. Paper Mario: The Legend of the Aeon Gate, a great classic that was released for the GameCube in 2004, has already been announced as a remaster. However, it is still unclear when the role-playing masterpiece will actually appear.
The situation is similar with the eagerly awaited HD remaster of Luigi's Mansion 2, which first caused goosebumps on the 3DS in 2013. New rumors suggest that a release or at least one Release announcement of the two titles could soon be imminent. In just a few days there will be a very special holiday.
Nintendo fans know: On March 10th, everyone wishes themselves and like-minded people a wonderful Mario Day. This is derived from the usual spelling of the appropriate date in America, March 10. And on this very day the time could come and the two Mario classics could be announced, at least with the date of publication. With a lot of luck, Nintendo might even decide to release one of the two legendary games als Shadow-Drop to publish as if out of nowhere. We are excited!
