Nintendo's track record of action in the name of protecting their products and IP is no longer in doubt. We are talking about companies that do not hesitate to do things that are quite extreme within the scope of the law enough to make those who are tempted to “nudge” them, tremble in silence. Do you still remember how the Nintendo Switch hacking case ended up involving Interpol with the suspect being prosecuted so heavily that he was in debt for the rest of his life? It's not surprising that many gamers are curious about what Yuzu's – the Nintendo Switch emulator – reaction will be like when Nintendo makes them their next target.
By trying to establish a correlation between Yuzu and the high number of downloads of the pirated game Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the internet, Nintendo is trying to demand compensation and ask that Yuzu's existence disappear from cyberspace. But it turns out, oh it turns out, Yuzu ends up not being afraid!
That instead of staying silent and “running away” from this situation which usually demands a lot of money, they are ready to fight Nintendo in court. This is reflected in the response of the company behind Yuzu – Tropic Haze, which has now officially registered a lawyer for this case which has attracted quite a lot of attention. They chose a lawyer from Pierce Atwood LLP who will be responsible for responding to Nintendo's “request”.

Of course it will be interesting to see what the results of this second “battle” will be, which is also important to further confirm the legality of the emulator in the future. How much will it cost and how much time will Yuzu have to spend fighting Nintendo in this case? Let's just wait.
