Capcom announced a new two-part digital event called “Capcom Highlights”. New details and impressions are promised about upcoming titles such as “Dragon's Dogma 2”, “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” or the remaster of “Monster Hunter: Stories”.
We certainly can't complain about being bored this week. After Xbox announced a new edition of the “Partner Preview” program yesterday with various revelations, the Japanese publisher Capcom followed suit in a recent announcement.
The company announced a digital event called “Capcom Highlights” that will span two episodes at the premiere. It starts on the night of Thursday to Friday at midnight our time. As part of the first part of “Capcom Highlights”, Capcom gives us an in-depth look at the action role-playing game “Dragon's Dogma 2”, which will be released this month.
There is also speculation that the publisher could use the event to announce a demo for “Dragon's Dogma 2”. The possibly crucial clue The Steam databases recently provided us with a test version of the fantasy adventure.
Capcom will also present us the stylish action title “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess”, which the publisher released last year ankündigte.
It will continue next week
The second part of “Capcom Highlights” starts next week. More precisely, on the night of March 11th to 12th, 2024, also at midnight Central European time. Here's a presentation of what was recently released for PC, PS4 and Switch angekündigten Remasters to the role-playing game “Monster Hunter: Stories”.
Players of “Street Fighter 6”, “Monster Hunter Now” and “Exoprimal” can also look forward to it. Capcom didn't reveal what the developers wanted to show us about these titles. However, it is suspected that Capcom could use the digital event to reveal new content – including Akuma for “Street Fighter 6”.
In order to prevent any rumors from arising in the first place, Capcom explicitly pointed out that we shouldn't expect any news about “Monster Hunter: Wilds”. The official unveiling will take place at a later date.
Finally, Capcom announced that you don't have to reserve too much time for the individual episodes of “Capcom Highlights”. Instead, the running time of an episode is 15 to 20 minutes.
