As it turned out, a port of a game for personal computers does not necessarily need new and very powerful hardware if the user agrees to simple graphics settings and a low screen resolution.
The authors announced several presets at once, which can be found in as much detail as possible in the infographic below, but here we will limit ourselves to the key ones.
Minimum (low settings at 720p and 30 fps):
• Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• Processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X;
• RAM: 16 GB;
• Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT (4 GB);
• SSD space: 150 Gb.
Requirements for ultra settings (at 4K and 60 fps):
• Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• Processor: Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X;
• RAM: 16 GB;
• Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT;
• SSD space: 150 Gb.
In general, the graphics in the game will be very flexible and there are a large number of settings available.
The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will be released on March 21st on Steam and EGS.
