We are now just a few days away from the debut of Rise of the Ronin, the main PlayStation 5 exclusive for the month of March 2024. While waiting to finally get our hands on the game, information has appeared on social media relating to the space it occupies on the SSD of the Sony latest generation console.
Providing this information is the now popular X/Twitter account called PlayStation Game Size, who usually peeks into Sony's database in order to find new details on upcoming productions. According to what was declared by the social profile, the game will have a significant impact 96,343 GB. It should be noted that this detail is in reference to version 1.001.001 of the exclusive PlayStation 5 and we cannot exclude that in the days that separate us from day one, updates may be published which will more or less significantly modify the amount of free space required in memory.
Regardless of the hypothetical arrival of further updates, it should also be specified that the game can be downloaded well in advance of its release. As only rarely happens with PlayStation 5 exclusives and the most important games, Sony will allow players who pre-order the title to start the preload a week in advance, well before the classic 48 hours: this means that the preload phase will start on March 15, 2024.
For those who were wondering, the new game by Team Ninja (known to most for being the birthplace of Ninja Gaiden and Nioh) will arrive on the shelves of all stores starting next year March 22, 2024exactly one week after the start of the pre-loading phase.
