While we await news about Death Stranding 2 and OD (the project in collaboration with Microsoft on Xbox, which apparently will involve Junji Ito), Hideo Kojima continues his rich cinematic diet. Obviously the vision of Dune Part 2. Denis Villeneuve's film, the second part of the story based on Frank Herbert's novels, has been in cinemas for a few days. In the film with Chalamet and Zendaya, Kojima glimpses a masterpiece, indeed, something even superior.

In a short post on TwitterKojima praised the film. According to the game director, Denis Villeneuve's work deserves to be enjoyed on the big screen. Indeed, says Kojima, the film could represent a real brake on the growing diffusion of subscription services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu, etc.

Speaking of cinema: Kojima has recently partnered with the A24 studio to bring an adaptation of Death Stranding to the big screen. Instead of the plot of the video game starring Sam Porter, however, we will see an original story. We always talk about cinema thinking about the adaptation of Metal Gear Solid, which has been in the works for years now, but of which there is almost no trace. Dune Part 2 recorded excellent numbers in its first weekend in theaters. At the Italian box office it placed in first position.
