Mario Day is coming up again in a few days – and Nintendo is already celebrating it in a special way: If you're interested, you can try out Switch Online for free for 14 days.
If you don't have a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you can now take a closer look at Nintendo's online service safely and without any financial investment. On the occasion of the upcoming Mario Day on March 10th, the Japanese have now started a special campaign and are offering you a free trial version.
Thanks to this trial version, if you are interested you can now try out Nintendo Switch Online for 14 days free of charge. All advantages of the service are then included, i.e. both the free classic games that are regularly added as part of the subscription and also provide access to NES or SNES titles from earlier days, as well as online play in more current Switch titles.
The free trial version includes the basic subscription, not the higher-quality expansion pack, which also offers N64 games and more. The promotion on the occasion of the upcoming Mario Day runs until March 17, 2024; Until then you can claim the 14-day free trial via the MyNintendo page. You then have to redeem the code via eShop on the Switch or via desktop by March 20th.
Further announcements are also expected for Mario Day, scheduled for March 10th. A renowned Nintendo insider recently suggested that there will be at least two announcements about upcoming Mario-related games. There's obviously a good chance that we'll get new trailers and release dates this weekend, including for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. We will of course keep you up to date on this!
