This morning's leak turned out to be true, since today's Xbox Partner Preview, March 6, 2024, actually brought a dowry l’annuncio di S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogycollection for Xbox One and Series X|S containing the three episodes of the original trilogy.
The good news was immediately followed by another, since you won't even have to wait to be able to play it. STALKER Legends of the Zone Trilogy will be launched on the Xbox Store today! At the time of writing this news it is not yet available for purchase, but it should make its appearance any moment now.
Priced at 39.99 euros, the collection includes S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky e S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, originally launched in 2007, 2008 and 2009, respectively. The three fps, until now only available for purchase on PC, are therefore making their debut on consoles with Xbox One conversions backwards compatible with Xbox Series. The leap into the console dimension is accompanied by an updated control system and a new selection wheel for controller-friendly weapons, as well as the original Italian localization, both in texts and subtitles.
We couldn't imagine a better appetizer than this in view of the debut of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, set for September 5, 2024 in the PC and Xbox Series X|S versions, complete with immediate availability in Game Pass.
Update at 9pm – We update the news to point out that STALKER Legends of the Zone Trilogy has been made available, as well as on the Xbox Store, also on the PlayStation Store in the PS4 version (backwards compatible with PS5). Strangely, on the PlayStation Store the collection is sold for 19.99 euros, instead of the 39.99 euros displayed on the Xbox Store. Could this be a temporary pricing error?
