Polish publisher and developer 11 bit studios, as part of the Xbox Partner Preview presentation, revealed the release date of its urban strategy with survival elements Frostpunk 2. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer.
Let us remember that until recently the release of Frostpunk 2 was expected in the first half of 2024 on PC (and in PC Game Pass), and subsequently the game promised to replenish the library of PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
As it became known, Frostpunk 2 will be released on July 25 of this year on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS, Microsoft Store) and PC Game Pass. The project will reach Xbox Game Pass, PS5, Xbox Series X and S later.
Following the announcement, pre-orders for Frostpunk 2 started on Steam. In the Russian segment, the standard edition of the game will cost 1,900 rubles, and the extended edition is sold for 2,880 rubles (including a 10 percent discount before release).
The Frostpunk 2 Deluxe Edition includes three post-launch additions, access to a week-long Sandbox beta in April, and the ability to play the story campaign 72 hours before the official release.
In the story, 30 years after the first part, the Earth is still tormented by an endless frost, but Frostpunk 2 shifts the focus from survival to the restoration of society and the associated answers to complex political questions.
They promise different factions with their own views, the construction of districts (instead of individual buildings), non-linear development of the City, the risk of running into a coup and text translation into Russian.
