Waze continues to be the most popular navigation application on the planet, and there are many good reasons for this. It is an app that is constantly evolving, being able to convince even iPhone users to abandon Apple Maps, and of course, all old Google Maps fans to also take the leap.
So, we have a new update on the way that will try to eliminate some of the worst defects of any driver. The fact that we don't know how to navigate roundabouts, and of course, that some drivers almost always opt for the “usual route”, instead of the fastest route.
Waze has an update that teaches you how to do roundabouts and that goes against stubborn people!
Therefore, it seems that the new version of Waze will use information about your route to help you enter and exit roundabouts that will most likely appear on your path.
In other words, the screen will show the lane in which you need to enter, how you need to move around the roundabout, and finally, the exit lane.
This functionality will appear on Android in March, with the iOS version of Waze receiving the new feature just a little later.
There's news for the stubborn!
Has it ever happened to you when you leave work to go home, and out of nowhere, Waze tells you to make a left turn, instead of the normal right turn? What happens in these cases, you ignore Waze and end up stuck in traffic hell thanks to some accident.
Well, you are not alone in this way of being. Therefore, Waze will start making comparisons between the route you usually take every day, and the fastest route.
All in order to prove that you are wrong, and that you are old enough to stop being stubborn and know-it-all. Learn it!
In addition to all this, Waze will also add some new alerts!
Such as the speed limit change in front of you, as well as warnings for tight curves, speed bumps, and even existence as well as toll prices.
To complete the experience, we will also be adding a warning of emergency vehicles stopped on your route. Something important, in case it is a dangerous and poorly marked scenario.
