In fact, developers from 11 bit studios are currently working on two projects.
The developers from the 11 bit studio are working not only on the sequel to Frostpunk 2, which we wrote about in another article today. At the same time, production is underway on the sci-fi survival simulator The Alters, which was presented with a new trailer at the last stream from Microsoft.
The Alters tells the story of a simple miner, Jan Dolski, who crash lands on a desert planet orbiting a sizzling star. Yang was able to get to a safe haven, a base furnished with the latest technology, but almost immediately encountered great difficulty. It turns out that the complex must be serviced by an experienced team, and Ian has only one himself. But he decided to deal with this obvious limitation scientifically.
Ian found rapididium, a mysterious substance that can be used to create clones. The protagonist thought that creating an army of his own kind and providing them all with work at the base was a great idea. Alternate versions of Yan are endowed with various skills related to repairs, tool making, and resource extraction. In the game, these clones are called alters (hence the name of the game).
The catch is that all the new variations of the main character are not robots, but full-fledged individuals with their own feelings, desires and goals. Ian will have to build relationships in the team, and this will be very difficult. If you do not control the army of your own kind, you can die.
The Alters will go on sale before the end of this year on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. Russian language support (subtitles) is announced for the game.
