A crash issue in Baldur's Gate 3 for Xbox is causing a delay in the delivery of Hotfixes 20 and 21.
Two hotfixes for Baldur's Gate 3 are being certified for the Xbox version.
We have already reported on the contents of Hotfix #20. It's already available for PlayStation and PC, but it's still a long time coming on Xbox.
Hotfix #21 has now also been submitted to Microsoft for certification. It should fix even more bugs and crashes and also restore the ability to send items to certain companions outside of the camp.
However, Larian reports that a crash bug was only discovered on Xbox.
This bug not only delays the delivery of hotfixes, but also results in cross-saves failing to load on Xbox if they come from platforms that have already been updated to hotfixes #20 or #21.
You can read the patch notes for Hotfix #21 here.
