In recent days, Larian Studio has published the relevant patch note on Steam all’hotfix numero 19 of Baldur's Gate 3. With that notice, in addition to listing the various known bugs and glitches corrected, the studio that won the Game Awards 2023 has hinted that it is ready to support the mods. Larian seems intent on encouraging the use of software that personalizes the user experience.
Baldur's Gate 3: Larian Studio ready to support mods. Here are the latest updates
Talking about mods is Michael Douse, Head of Publications at Larian Studio. The intervention dates back to the end of February, with the publication of hotfix 19. The plan, says Douse, is to arrive at a cross-platform mod support plan by the end of this year. In his post (available in the original below), the dev lets it be known that Larian supports the modder community.
As for the most recent hotfix, 21, published in the last few hours for Mac, PC and PlayStation – and coming to Xbox – it brings several small and large fixes. Some bugs that prevented the correct triggering of dialogues and events related to certain characters have been resolved. The list expands under User Interface. Larian claims to have fixed some trade-related bugs. The possibility of sending material to the base camp also returns, even when you are not on site. The feature, says Larian, was much appreciated by the Baldur's Gate 3 community, so it was brought back. Also fixed the glitch that allowed items to be placed in irrelevant slots. Larian jokes: “take the gloves off your feet, please”.

We generally don’t talk about things til they’re ready, but as you may have read, we’re making an exception. We’ve been working on a robust, cross-platform plan for mod support to be released later in year. We love our modding community and we want to support them. It’s coming. https://t.co/54GsxNshlQ
