It was launched a month ago and has not left anyone indifferent. Helldivers 2 has not only been a success for Arrowhead Game Studios, also unequivocal proof for Sony that releasing its video games on PC is good business. However, the nature of its universe means that it needs constant attention and that means both improvements and content.
Yesterday, March 6, 2024, Helldivers 2 received an update loaded with improvements, corrections and new content: planetary dangers. Now, PlayStation announces the arrival of a new War Bond package called Cutting Edge, which brings with it the latest improvements in R&D. As revealed by the official blog, the new toys are the following:
three armors: EX-03 Prototype 3, EX-16 Prototype 16 and EX-00 Prototype X. They come with their respective capes and helmets. You can see what it looks like in the official trailer.
Three main weapons: SG-8P Punisher Plasma, the Punisher shotgun modified to fire arc/ball lightning; LAS-16 Sickle, an assault rifle that does not need to be reloaded unless it overheats; and ARC-12 Blizter (ARC-12 Blizter), a shotgun that fires several bursts of powerful beams.
secondary weapon: LAS-7 Dagger pistol, whose operation is the same as the LAS-5 Scythe rifle.
Granada: G-23 Stun, a paralyzing explosive to slow the advance of enemies.
All this content Cutting Edge It will be available on March 14 for PS5 and PC in the Acquisitions menu, that is, where the War Bonds (or Battle Passes) called Helldivers, Movilizaos and Seasoned Veterans are currently located. In other words: new toys to bring democracy to every corner of the galaxy.
