Despite Microsoft's clarification of the new business strategy related to exclusive games from Xbox teams, rumors and questions still continue to arise about which projects will be transferred to the Playstation 5. At the moment, only 4 games from Microsoft studios have been officially confirmed for Sony and Sony consoles. Nintendo, but there are rumors that other projects may visit them, including Starfield.
This week, insider Silknigth reported that Starfield will be released on Playstation 5 from November to December 2024. This rumor commented Jez Corden, who is known for his connections to Microsoft and accurate information from the Xbox camp. According to him, the development of a version of Starfield for Playstation 5 is not currently underway:
Since some people have been asking me about the latest Starfield rumors, I'll say it unequivocally: I have excellent information that no one is currently working on Starfield for the Playstation. Nobody knows what the long-term future holds, but don't expect it anytime soon.
Let us remind you that Microsoft Gaming executives did not rule out that after Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded and Sea of Thieves, other games from internal studios could be released on Sony and Nintendo consoles.
