Collaboration between two franchises that exist in different media is not something strange in the gaming industry. Just look at what Epic Games has managed to do with Fortnite, which can now even be said to have grown into its own “metaverse”. It's always interesting to see who this giant video game franchise intends and succeeds in inviting, which often comes from sources that can never be predicted beforehand. This is what Blizzard managed to do for Overwatch 2 after confirming its collaboration with one of the best anime of all time – Cowboy Bebop.
As usual, the collaboration between the two will present Cowboy Bebop themed cosmetic items for several characters: Cassidy as Spike Spiegel, Ashe as Faye Valentine, Wrecking Ball as Ein, Sombra as Ed, and Mauga as Jet Black with additional unique artwork as well. The coolest part? The announcement of this collaboration was made with a Cowboy Bebop-style trailer which was also successfully paired with its iconic OST – Tank! It's hard not to fall in love with this cool adaptation.
