The colleagues at Digital Foundry have put together a technical analysis of the remake of “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons”. The result is an extensive video that leaves no questions unanswered in this regard.
The technical side of the new edition of “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” is analyzed here for over 16 minutes. The developers are said to have done a good job per se, for example in the representation of the characters or the detailed game world, and only complain about the sometimes slightly unstable frame rate.
“Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” follows brothers Naia and Naiee, who go on an adventure to save the life of their dying father. In collaboration with game director Josef Fares, the game was redeveloped in Unreal Engine 5 in order to be as close as possible to the original. As a bonus, the classic single-player experience is supplemented by local co-op, which makes it possible to control the two brothers together with other players.
“Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake” was released on February 28th for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
