The Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced an electric scooter that will soon be available on the global market. We are talking about the second generation Xiaomi 4 Lite, the main difference of which from the original model is the increased power reserve.
The new product is a modernized folding scooter that retains some of the functions of the original model, released on the market in 2023. The second generation Xiaomi 4 Lite is capable of accelerating up to 25 km/h and has support for three speed modes. In addition to this, there is a walking mode, which comes in handy when the user is walking and rolling the scooter next to him.
The design of the new product features a 300 W motor. Autonomous operation is provided by a battery with a capacity of 9600 mAh, which requires 8 hours to fully charge. One battery charge is enough to cover up to 25 km, while for the first generation model this figure was 20 km. We also note the presence of an E-ABS system, disc brakes, 10-inch pneumatic tires and headlights to illuminate the road ahead in the dark. The design of the scooter includes a display that displays information about speed, battery charge level, etc. Like the original model, the second generation Xiaomi 4 Lite can withstand a load of up to 100 kg.
Xiaomi has not yet announced the retail price of the new product, but it is expected that it will be slightly more expensive than the original model, which can currently be purchased for about $440. Most likely, you can become the owner of the second generation Xiaomi 4 Lite for about $490.
