Now the main task is to “shoot.”
At the Morgan Stanley technology conference, Intel CFO David Zinsner admitted that as part of the advanced 18A process technology, the company does not intend to offer third-party customers the production of their chips in large quantities. In fact, at this stage of cooperation with other developers, Intel is faced with the task of demonstrating its technological capabilities and establishing interaction with them in adapting their developments to its technical processes.

As Zinsner added, Intel has third-party customers for both the Intel 3 process and the Intel 16 process technology, but since the latter were not initially adapted for third-party production, launching mass production of such chips takes longer than in the case of Intel 18A. which is initially configured for use in conjunction with third-party developments.
