Capcom plans to release on March 22 on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC role-playing game Dragon's Dogma 2. Judging by early previews from journalists, the project should become one of the main releases in the first half of 2024. It seems that the developers managed to create a large-scale RPG that should appeal to all players, and not just fans of the first part.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is a game that is designed entirely for single player play. In an interview with Automaton, one of the development managers, Hideaki Itsuno, said that the project’s authors did not even consider the possibility of adding multi-user options. The feeling of the presence of partners, as in the first part, will be achieved through Pawns, which have received advanced AI. Dragon's Dogma 2 should not be expected to eventually introduce co-op or other multiplayer options, as Itsuno believes this would go against the spirit of the series.
Let us remind you that completing Dragon's Dogma 2 will take players 40 hours or more, just to complete the main quest. With full immersion and exploration of the world, Capcom will spend about 110 hours to complete the new RPG.
Recently on Xbox Series X | S have released a character editor for Dragon's Dogma 2. It allows you to create skins for up to 5 main characters and 5 Pawns, which can be transferred to the final release.
Players who pre-order Dragon's Dogma 2 can now pre-load the game on Xbox Series X | S.
