The moment when Multiversus will be reborn from its ashes is getting closer and closer. Warner Bros. has announced that it is working hard on the return of his fighting game which resembles Super Smash Bros. We remember that it was withdrawn in the middle of last year to end its beta phase and thus improve all its content from top to bottom based on complaints and suggestions from the community.
That has led its director to reveal in a video what his plans are so that its rebirth is spectacular and in style. To begin with, it has been confirmed that it will be the May 28 when it will be available again, maintaining its free-to-play format and the content that was previously present.
Naturally, there will be no shortage of new features in the form of totally new characters and scenarios that will be seen from day one. Furthermore, to make everything look better than ever, the Unreal Engine 5 graphics enginebut all its code has also been rewritten from scratch in order to considerably improve the entire gameplay with very significant changes in hits and dodges.
Likewise, rewriting the code will also serve to improve performance on all platforms, so that all players can enjoy the same experience regardless of the platform from which they connect to distribute blows. For the rest, it has been promised that a new PvE mode with exclusive rewards will be added, without going into more details about it.
Warner Bros. has assured that it will reveal more information as the release date of Multiversus on the same systems on which it was originally available, that is, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store.
