Anyone who wants the RPG would currently have to use another platform.
Octopath Traveler is also available for PC on Steam or the Epic Games Store as well as for Xbox One. It is currently suspected that a change in publisher could be behind the matter. According to an X post from Gematsu, there will be no more Nintendo listed as a publisher in the West, but Square Enix. Until now, Square Enix was only responsible for publishing Octopath Traveler in Japan. However, it can be assumed that the role-playing game will be available again in the Nintendo eShop very soon.
