The chapter Cyberpunk 2077 is essentially concluded for CD Projekt RED: the Polish studio is now focused on the long-awaited Cyberpunk Orion sequel and on multiple themed projects The Witcherhowever the adventure starring V he might still have something to say to fans.
Gabriel The Devilone of the directors of Cyberpunk 2077, has in fact hinted during an interview with Game File that there may still be room for some minor surprises aimed at enriching the Action/RPG originally published at the end of 2020: “The development is concluded, but it is possible that some other small news may arrive every now and then, perhaps because new ideas are thought of that are not risky and are easy to integrate, or more simply because some developers want to continue working on it,” says Amatangelo.
Although for now there is nothing concrete, from the co-director's words the possibility emerges that further updates for Cyberpunk 2077 may materialize in the near future, aimed at perfecting the game even further or perhaps even adding further minor features. For example, one of the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patches has improved Ray Tracing, so other improvements of this type could arrive over the next few months.
In any case, the priority remains Cyberpunk Orionalready in the works but with a release that is still mysterious and distant.
