A few weeks ago there was a lot of talk about player complaints about the yellow paint around the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth map. Over the last few hours, the director of the exclusive PlayStation 5 has decided to intervene on the issue.
For those who don't know what we're talking about, the controversy arose due to the presence of yellow paint on some scenery elements, so as to make players immediately understand the path to take to continue the adventure. This element, also present in many other video games, did not go down well with many fans, who decided to express their disappointment on social media.
Naoki Hamaguchiduring an interview with Red Bull's microphones, declared:
“I didn't think the yellow paint would cause so much discussion on social media. Elements such as camera options, where there are numerous choices and none are better than the others, our intention is to offer as much variety as possible. In In any case, we welcome any kind of feedback for our future projects.”
The director of the popular role-playing game also added that it is essential for the development team that the titles are accessible and that there are numerous options that allow everyone to enjoy a product. The presence of this visual element is therefore due to the desire to make the game enjoyable even for those who do not usually play video games, since it allows less experienced users to never get lost.
