Twitter user TechEpiphany prepares weekly GPU sales statistics at German online retailer Mindfactory and it shows that AMD is still able to hold its own in front of Nvidia in terms of units sold. According to data from TechEpiphany, 1,670 graphics cards with an AMD chip were sold in calendar week 10, while Nvidia said it was 1,520. The ratio is 52.02 to 47.35 percent in favor of AMD, the rest goes to Intel.

On average, AMD GPUs turned out to be cheaper than Nvidia GPUs. Here the average sales prices were 548 to 771 euros. This is also the reason why Nvidia is usually ahead in weekly sales on Mindfactory. In calendar week 10, Nvidia chips brought in 1,171,774 euros, while on the other hand it was correspondingly less at 915,146 euros.

As is well known, three new super GPUs came onto the market in January, which currently seem to be quite popular at Mindfactory. The best-selling graphics card was the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti Super, with 280 units. This is followed by the RTX 4080 Super with 220 units. The RTX 4070 Super, the least spectacular of the three new GPUs, had to give way to the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti (memory configuration not mentioned) until it appeared in the ranking with 175 units sold.

At the top, however, is AMD's popular Radeon RX 7800 XT, which sold 340 units within the tenth calendar week. The next highest Radeon RX 7900 XT is also impressive behind the RTX 4070 TiS with 260 units sold. The new Radeon RX 7900 GRE, which was released separately in stores, followed in fifth place with 215 units sold. The fourth most popular graphics card on AMD's account is ultimately the first RDNA 2 card, Radeon RX 6800, recommended by PCGH (when it costs around 380 euros). According to TechEpiphany, it has been sold 185 times.
