Players will see two states and many cities.
The developers of Dragon's Dogma 2 usually say that the game world is about 4 times larger than the first part of the series. In an interview with Automation, development lead Hideaki Itsuno admits that this is a rough estimate.
In fact, Itsuno says, the developers did not accurately measure the area of the world of Dragon's Dogma 2. It may well turn out that the game world of Dragon's Dogma 2 is larger than the developers expected.

The team believes that [мир] significantly more. The number of cities has grown dramatically, we have two large countries with diverse populations.
But we relied not on the size of the world, but on its density. And we made a lot of adjustments to the map, trying to make sure that the player didn’t waste time just boringly moving from one point to another.
An interesting point: the developers of The Witcher 3 adjusted the content of the game world in approximately the same way. CD Projekt designers jumped around the virtual map, and when they got tired of jumping, they decided that some content needed to be added in this place.
Dragon's Dogma 2 will be released on PC and next-generation consoles on March 22, 2024.
