A Apple is assembling the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 in Brazil. The information comes from the MacMagazine portal, which spoke about the subject and mentioned some signs that suggest this movement on the part of the Cupertino giant. In this sense, one of the factors that contribute to this is the URL of the cell phone sales page.
To be more specific, just pay attention to the address when you add the smartphone to your cart. For those who don't know, the versions manufactured in Brazil have a different identification in the part numbers, which end in BR/A. Meanwhile, the link for the other variants shows BE/A.
It is also worth mentioning that devices imported and sold in Brazilian territory have part numbers ending in BZ/A. In other words, despite not having official confirmation so far, it appears that only the base version of the iPhone 15 series has undergone this change and is being manufactured in Brazil.
The device’s “brothers”, in turn, continue to be imported. Anyone who follows Apple closely already knows that this doesn't come as a big surprise, after all, Apple did the same thing with the previous generation of its mobile devices. However, this does not mean that the price of the models will be reduced, which is unpleasant news for consumers.
To remember, the values remain the same, with the 128GB internal memory model being sold for the suggested price of R$ 7.300while the 256GB version costs R$ 8.100 to consumer pockets. Anyone who wants the 512GB variant will have to pay R$ 9.600.
