As part of the CES 2024 at the beginning of January, the manufacturer LG, which had introduced new model series of OLED televisions, also got involved. The new devices under the names B4, C4, G4 and M4 come with different screen diagonals and should of course be able to do more than older models, for example in terms of brightness, refresh rate and hardware equipment. The prices and availability of the new OLED TVs are now said to have become known, as Notebookcheck reports.
LG OLED: B4, C4, G4 and M4 with prices and release windows
However, the release dates are only partially concrete, so the C4 and G4 televisions will be the first to appear in April, followed by the B4 models in May, while the M4 OLED TVs will last until the second half of 2024 should give time. The new OLED TVs cover screen diagonals from 42 to 97 inches, but none of the model series includes all sizes without exception. The G4 and M4 OLED TVs should support a resolution of 4K at 144 Hz up to 83 inches, while 97-inch panels only support up to 120 Hz. The latter must also be based on a micro lens array (MLA) and thus the forego the new 150 percent HDR peak brightness.

The new C4 OLED TVs are said to shine 30 percent brighter than their C3 predecessors, with the same power consumption. At the same time, the M4 and G4 should shine significantly brighter than the B series. The range of televisions also varies. The C4 OLED TVs will be available in C47, C48 and C49 variants, while G49 models will be offered with a stand and G48 models with a wall mount. In addition, according to Notebookcheck, M4 televisions will probably be delivered with a streaming box.

The cheapest televisions start at 1,700 euros for the lowest screen diagonal and end at 34,700 euros for the 97-inch models. So if you want to install a kind of TV wall in your living room, you have to put a lot of money on the table – at least 30,000 euros. Customers should be able to start doing this with the G4 next month. For more information on LG's new OLED TV series, check out our CES coverage article earlier this year.
