According to SamMobile, a specialist in Samsung matters, it is possible that the Galaxy S25 will be faster than the iPhone 16 Pro. Based on some reports about the South Korean brand's future cell phone, the Galaxy S25 could have a processor and RAM faster than Apple's cell phone.
As the AjuNews report indicates, Samsung and SK Hynix are in the process of accelerating the production of “LPDDR6 DRAM”, in order to reach the top of the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven industry.
LPDDR6 DRAM has large data storage capacity
Having said that, what differentiates this RAM specifically? In light of what SamMobile is advancing, it offers much greater capacity to store data, which would result in faster processing, also when it comes to the execution of AI tasks by the device.
Remember that the previous model, the LPDDR5, has existed for around five years, since 2019. It is known that, when it comes to data bandwidth, this version has values of 6.4 Gbps, while the higher version recent will have a width of 8.5 Gbps.
Based on the same source of information, LPDDR6 memory could be used in cell phones that contain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is expected that this will be included in the next launches of the GalaxyS25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The CPU cores of the future Galaxy S25 should be faster than Apple's
Going into more technical details, it is known that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has Qualcomm's custom Oryon CPU cores, which were developed by Nuvia. These CPU cores have the possibility of them being faster than those in Apple's next chip, the A18 Pro.
That said, even though the information is based on reports, one can begin to hypothesize that the Samsung Galaxy S25 will be faster than the iPhone 16 Pro. According to SamMobile, this is a perfectly possible scenario, with based on the RAM and processor capacity of this future cell phone from the South Korean brand.
