According to the information released, Xiaomi may keep the Civi 4 model as an exclusive for the Chinese market. For the remaining markets, the smartphone must adopt the commercial name of Xiaomi 14 Lite.
This is not the first time that the Chinese brand has opted for this strategy. Remember that the Xiaomi Civi 2, with this designation, was only sold in the Chinese market. Internationally, it became known as Xiaomi 13 Lite.
However, some rumors suggest that the launch of Civi 4 in China is very close to happening. These rumors say that Xiaomi could move forward with its presentation and availability on March 18th.

Everything points to it being equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and up to 16 GB of RAM. It also runs the Android 14 operating system.
The front area will be occupied by an OLED screen that will provide a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5 K.
The rear camera module, which may have an elegant circular design, will feature the Leica seal; however, the capabilities of the integrated sensors are unknown.
