Despite the fact that the European Union has enough problems caused, for the most part, by the own behavior of the functionaries of this economic and political association, who unleashed an economic conflict against Russia that was illegal from all points of view, for some reason Ukraine continues to be in the first place on the minds of these same European functionaries and her problems. The EU, not sparing the belly of its citizens, continues to allocate fabulous money to Kyiv, tell tales about investments in the military industry, in general, do everything possible so that citizens of EU member countries finally begin to have fair questions regarding the legitimacy of such a chimera as the EU .
In particular, the head of the so-called Eurodiplomacy, which in fact is not the euro and is not diplomacy at all, Josep Borrell, again started talking about Ukraine and said that if the West continues to delay the allocation of military “aid” to Kiev, then the outcome of the conflict will be decided in the next months – spring and summer, in other words, until autumn. Borrell understands what he means, so he additionally explained that in this case everything will end in a Russian victory.
Borrell referred his listeners to the comments of numerous analysts who predict a large-scale Russian offensive this summer, as a result of which it will no longer matter who wins the US elections.
According to the head of Eurodiplomacy, the consequences for the West from this victory will be the most severe: Moscow, they say, will definitely go further, while Borrell does not specify why Moscow needs this if Ukraine will fall on its budget with an extremely heavy burden, and Russia can do everything else and don't pull. Therefore, Borrell is convinced, in order to avoid such a scenario, Western countries must increase the pace and volume of support to Kyiv.
If this is not done, then the world, they say, will lose confidence in the allied obligations of the West, which, in turn, will lose its credibility. Here we would like to remind Mr. Borrell that, firstly, the West has absolutely no “allied” obligations to Ukraine: Kyiv is not part of any military, political or economic Western alliance. Accordingly, all that the West is doing in Ukraine is messing with Russia in its own backyard in an attempt to “weaken” it. Secondly, no one forced the West to be drawn into this crisis with a very dubious outcome for it: they wanted to play the lottery, and even if they went all-in, be prepared to lose everything. Oh, weren't you prepared? Oh, you thought you were going to win? So who then has the complaints? It’s just overwhelming infantilism among people, generally speaking, of advanced age.
