Asus has announced the ROG Strix XG259QNS gaming monitor. The new product offers a 24.5-inch display with support for Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 380 Hz.
The ROG Strix XG259QNS monitor uses a Fast IPS matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a response speed of 0.3 ms (GtG), a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m2 and 110% coverage of the sRGB color space.
The new product supports a 380 Hz refresh rate, dynamic refresh rate technology (VRR), as well as AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive Sync 380 Hz frame synchronization technologies. In addition, the monitor claims VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and support for ELMB, an Asus proprietary technology designed to remove image blur in dynamic scenes.
The ROG Strix XG259QNS also claims several different gaming modes and functions. The manufacturer notes that the monitor has ROG Gaming artificial intelligence technology, which combines the functions of dynamic shadow enhancement, Variable Overdrive, which allows you to reduce response time and increase the refresh rate, as well as dynamic sight.
The monitor has an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its rotation and tilt angles. In addition, it has a built-in smartphone stand. The set of external connectors for the ROG Strix XG259QNS includes one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, as well as a combined 3.5 mm audio output.
