Samsung has released a new update for the Wonderland app, which is a module of the company's Good Lock app that lets you create wallpapers on the go. The latest update increases the app version to 1.5.05 and brings four new features.
Good Lock's Wonderland module has new features on the Galaxy S24
Firstly, the application now supports the always-on display (AOD) on Galaxy S24 smartphones. That is, you can see them even when it is turned off. Secondly, it now offers a new lock screen effect called “Slide”. Thirdly, it improves usability by avoiding conflicts between settings in Wonderland and Lockstar, something that was introduced with One UI 6.1. Finally, it fixes interface-related errors and runtime exceptions, offering more stable performance.
Although the latest version of Wonderland appears on the Galaxy Store, it is not yet available to all users.
But there is more news
When One UI 6 with Android 14 arrived in October 2023, many Galaxy S23 users were quick to point out the missing vertical app drawer list option in Good Lock's Home Up module. However, many people believed that the function would arrive as soon as Home Up received an update to improve its compatibility with One UI 6. However, this never happened.
A member of the Good Lock support team confirmed in a post on the Samsung Korea community forum that they are working to bring back the vertical app list option to Home Up. However, this feature will arrive with One UI 6.1. 1. That is, if there are no delays due to unforeseen problems or other bugs.
Typically, Samsung releases a One UI xx1 build alongside the launch of its foldable smartphones. Therefore, One UI 6.1.1 should probably arrive when the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 launch in July this year. A recent rumor suggests that the Korean giant may hold the Unpacked event as early as July 10th this year.
If you can't wait that long, you can try another launcher.
In our case, we really liked Nova Launcher. However, almost all of them offer a vertical application drawer, allowing you to quickly scroll through all installed applications. It is because of these limitations and problems that Android still needs third-party launchers. These offer much more customization and functionality, which makes them an excellent alternative to the base smartphone launcher.
If you haven't already, you should try Samsung's Good Lock app, especially if you use the Galaxy S24. With the NavStar module, it is possible to restore Samsung's old navigation gestures and the ability to hide the gesture bar, two features that were removed from the phone.
