Ubisoft is currently not only working on a variety of Assassin's Creed titles. Among these projects is said to be a remake of Black Flag. Aside from the flagship brand, one of the most important titles of the year, Star Wars Outlaws, is in development at Ubisoft.
So there is a lot of attention when news about the latest game about the galaxy far, far away comes to light. However, there are no rumors about the game design or plot doing the rounds these days. Instead, the technology of the upcoming blockbuster is the focus of the reporting.
The most beautiful Star Wars game of all time?
The latest report comes neither from an insider like Tom Henderson nor from Ubisoft itself. However, Nvidia has announced an interesting aspect of the open world game. Accordingly, these are not rumors or speculation, but rather actual facts about the title.
“Star Wars Outlaws will be released with CLSS 3 and ray tracing effects,” the company announced in a blog post. Therefore, according to Gamingbolt's classification, players can expect, among other things, better frame rates, resolutions, global illumination, ray tracing shadows and lower latency.
While technology nerds will be happy to note this, some questions still remain unanswered. Ultimately, this by no means guarantees that Ubisoft will make the most of these theoretical possibilities. How exactly ray tracing and the like manifest themselves in practice for Star Wars Outlaws is another question.

When exactly we will be able to convince ourselves of the visual qualities of the title is still unknown. Simply, the current financial year seems to be a safe window for publication so far.
