Mac J. wants to see Dune: Part Two more than 200 times in the cinema
After surpassing the Marvel fan, now Mac J. wants to beat his own record by enjoying Denis Villeneuve's sequel on the big screen more times than the previous installment. At the moment he has already seen the film 14 times in IMAX and is determined to continue his streak.
“It's been very confusing. I don't know why it's gaining so much traction. People have told me to buy Twitter Blue, but I need to save that money for Dune“, he tells Inverse following suggestions from other fans that he get verified in X due to his notoriety on the social network for his previous feat.
Regarding the previous installment, Marc J. comments that “I used to keep a spreadsheet of when I would watch again, but I stopped at 100 and that was in 2022… I didn't have the busiest social life in high school and “I spent most of my time reading or studying.”
“It often became something I would just put on in the background or just sit and watch. I have the script memorized and I used to write it in school when I was bored“he adds.
Dune: Part Two is in theaters from March 1, 2024. Will Marc J. manage to beat his own Guinness record with Denis Villeneuve's next film? Time will tell.
