If you think about the year 2020, a game that gave a lot to talk about automatically comes to mind: Among Us. The multiplayer title developed by Innersloth made a huge impact during the pandemic and, although it is currently barely among the most played games, it certainly marked a milestone in some rather unusual years.
Thanks to this success, CBS and Paramount+ reached an agreement with the developer to launch an animated series of Among Us. After several months of absolute silence, the first actors and actresses who will participate in this unexpected and interesting project have finally been announced.
Randall Park, who played Stephen Shin in Aquaman or Kim Jong-Un himself in The Interview, will voice Red, the captain of the ship. Ashley Johnson, the voice behind Ellie in The Last of Us, will play Purple, she will be the ship's head of security. Yvette Nicole Brown, known for her time in The Community, will play Orange, the head of Human Resources. Elijah Wood, the beloved Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings saga, will play Green, an unpaid intern.
The director of the series will be Owen Dennis, creator of the animated series The Infinity Train. The plot of the series, still without a release date, will be similar to that of the video game: the crew of a ship lost in space will try to discover an alien shapeshifter who pretends to be human and who kills them in the most horrible ways possible. .
