The tactical shooter “Wild Bastards” is also coming to consoles! The developers of Blue Manchu will, among other things, serve the PlayStation 5.
The people responsible at Modus Games and Blue Manchu have announced that their upcoming strategy shooter “Wild Bastards” is coming to consoles. In addition to the PC, the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch will also be supplied over the course of the year.
At the edge of the law and the galaxy
In the past, the developers have already caused a stir with “Void Bastards” and “Card Hunter”. With Wild Bastards they will send players from one planet to the next to recruit outlaws. Finally, you can put together a team of 13 outlaws, each with their own weapons, special powers, and growth trees. You collect loot on the planets and start showdowns that end in intense shootouts.
The Wild Bastards were the deadliest gang in the galaxy before the Puritan magnate Jebediah Chaste gradually eliminated the outlaws. When the last two remaining members faced their mortality, they joined the Drifter. This is a mysterious spaceship that is looking for the dead gang members and wants to revive them.
You can expect playful tactical battles in a first-person shooter. You'll have to act wisely to take down enemies that take cover, flank you, or use various special attacks themselves. In the shootouts you can prove that you are the greatest gunslinger in the galaxy.
In addition, you also have to keep the relationships with the gang members going. Finally, feuds and disputes can also arise within the gang. But money certainly always helps. So you collect resources to heal gang members, upgrade characters, improve relationships and much more.
The galactic sectors that you explore in “Wild Bastards” are procedurally generated. This means that all planets have different conditions in terms of gravity, terrain, weather and more. After completing the campaign, a challenge mode will also be unlocked, which will feature increasingly difficult missions and mutators.
