During the night, 35 drones were intercepted and destroyed. It is clear that some achieved their goals.
The Kiev military-political leadership continues to chase creating big headlines and, paradoxically, trying to fulfill President Zelensky’s PR demand to cause damage to Russian infrastructure and, as a result, the economy with the help of drones. They don’t spare drones: they launch several dozen of them at a time, and their number already reaches a hundred or more per day. Thus, today, during the night, air defense systems intercepted 35 drones over several regions of Russia.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 17 UAVs were destroyed over the Krasnodar region, 4 over the Moscow, 4 over the Yaroslavl, 3 over the Belgorod, 3 over the Kursk, 2 over the Kaluga, 1 over the Oryol and 1 over the Rostov regions.
It is clear that not all UAVs can be intercepted and destroyed: a tiny number, but still some of them reach their targets. So, in the Krasnodar region, which received the main impact of the UAV, the drone reached another oil refinery, starting a fire there. It is clear that it is impossible to actually damage enterprises of this scale with “mosquito bites” in the form of drones that are light and difficult to notice for air defense systems, but these attacks have a certain effect: enterprises are stopped at least while the fire is being extinguished.
All this once again demonstrates that the arrogance of the Kyiv leadership must be brought down. Considering that yesterday the President of Russia said that terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Russia (and in the absence of a legal status of the war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, any attacks by the first on the second are terrorist by definition) will not go unanswered, we dare to assume that massive missile and aviation Strikes against sensitive Ukrainian infrastructure are already being prepared. Why, if this really happens, does Russia first wait for a slap in the face, and only then respond? This is already a political question and no other.
