Recently, some leaks have revealed potential information about Assassin's Creed Red and Hexe. But that's not all! We perhaps know more about the future of the license.
Information on Assassin's Creed Red and Hexe
Clearly, Insider Gaming had things to say about Assassin's Creed. On February 26, the site published an article, by Tom Henderson, revealing inside information on upcoming titles. Who says inside, of course says unofficial information which must therefore be taken with a pinch of salt. Unsurprisingly, some of these concerned the anticipated Assassin's Creed Red. As we explained to you in this article, the episode in Japan should be similar to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, both in terms of combat and also the camp system. Of course, the title should expand everything and try a few twists with numerous infiltration strategies and bloodier combat than ever.
But it wasn't just for Red in Tom Henderson's paper. The latter also told us that the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe should be a woman named Elsa. But we suspected that a little. Probably the most interesting thing is all the indiscretions regarding the mysterious Infinity hub. In addition to compiling all the future episodes of the saga, the latter should offer a store called The Exchange. A Synchronization tab will a priori offer a sort of mini narrative battle pass for the different assassins available. But while most people focused on the information previously cited, there were other things to learn from Insider Gaming's paper, particularly regarding the future of Ubisoft's license.
Remake, Nebula, free game… The future of Assassin's Creed
At the 15th anniversary of her license, we said to ourselves that she wasn't ready to die any time soon. And obviously, even after Assassin's Creed Nexus, Assassin's Creed Jade, Red and Hexe, she still has many years ahead of her. Once again, this should be taken with a grain of salt, but Ubisoft reportedly has 6 other AC projects in preparation. There is of course the Invictus multiplayer projectwhich would still be relevant today, but also le remake d’Assassin’s Creed Black Flag (code name: Obsidian) which we are talking about so much at the moment.
To this remake would be added a second, still unknown at the moment. Perhaps this is the remake of the first Assassin's Creed that players have been waiting for for so long. There would also be the Nebula project, a game more ambitious than ever which should take us to India, to the heart of the Aztec Empire and to the coast of the Mediterranean; the Raid project, a free-to-play cooperative game with 4 players; the Echoes project, a multiplayer title. Still according to Insider Gaming, all these games should be released by the end of the decade, in just 7 years. If all of this turns out to be true, that would give us an average of more than one AC game per year. Something to delight – or excite – the players!
