Premiere of the week in the USA, “Kung Fu Panda 4” (which hits Brazilian cinemas this Thursday) is the leader of the North American box office, followed by last week's debut, “Dune: Part 2”. The animation grossed US$77,743,755 while the science fiction film raised US$65,190,249.
It continues to be in the running, almost leaving, in tenth place, the gospel series “The Chosen”, specifically episodes 7 and 8 of the fourth season.
In the parallel market, despite the Oscars having already passed, the nominated and awarded films continue to be among the most researched. “Oppenheimer” and “Poor Creatures” come in second and third place, respectively. Behind only “Madame Teia”, which was considered a box office failure.
Also in the top 10 of pirated films is the action film starring Millie Bobby Brown, from Netflix, “Maiden”.
