It looks like that Movie Fans soon on another part of the legendary Jumanji-Reihe can look forward to! After the original in 1995 with Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst, the adventure was released in 2017 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle new on. Over $961.6 million the film played back then and got – because of the great success – two years later directly a sequel was given.
And also Jumanji: The Next Level was able to impress at the box office and achieved sales of $795.3 million only narrowly beaten its predecessor. He should do that too well-known cast belong, which Columbia Pictures brought on board for the new edition. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan were seen on screen as a crew.
Next Jumanji film already on the way?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter spoke Karen Gillan now not just about her upcoming film Sleeping Dogs, which opens in the US in a few days, but also answered a question about her starring role in the world of Jumanji. She doesn't seem to have any concrete details about the sequel yet – but she should definitely another film give.
“If you find out anything, can you let me know? Because I don't know. I'm sure it's hard to juggle all the schedules, but I haven't heard anything about it. Other than the fact that that we will do it (part 3 of the new edition) at some point. We are all so excited about it. We all love working on these films – it's just a matter of when.”
