Details relating to the first update of 2024 have just been published on the official Rockstar Games portal Red Dead Redemption 2which over the last few hours has welcomed a patch that has brought the open world to version 1.32.
As with most updates, the one that just arrived for Red Dead Redemption 2 should generally improve performance and optimization on PlayStation 4, Xbox One e PC, especially those relating to the multiplayer component of the title, i.e. Red Dead Online. The patch also intervenes on some problems encountered by users with the daily challenges, with the failure to spawn vehicles on certain occasions and with the error that prevented some activities from starting. The developers have also decided to change the default option for voice chat, which from now on will be disabled on first launch.
The update changelog also includes a section dedicated only to the PC version of the game, which included fixes for crash problems at launch, for the offline mode not working on Windows 11 and for the absence of the 3200×2400 resolution in the screen settings. Perhaps the most important addition for RDR2 on PC concerns the introduction ofHDR10+ GAMING, a feature that allows those who have a compatible panel to activate the appropriate option and enjoy the game in the best possible way. The development team has also updated the libraries of theAMD Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) to version 2.2.
While waiting to find out if Rockstar will also decide to update the title for the latest generation consoles with future patches, we remind you that a madman tied 130 Red Dead Redemption 2 NPCs to the tracks and had them run over.
